Interested in Volunteering to help build Colonia Nova?

Are you interested in helping build one of Second Life’s newest regions and the much-anticipated expansion of the Confederation of Democratic Simulators? Have you read about Colonia Nova but weren’t sure how you could help? If so, the Sim Planning Committee would like to invite you to help by contributing your time, talent, and perhaps most importantly, ingenuity and intellect towards the completion of this exciting project.

In terms of content production, we are in need of clothiers, builders, scripters, texture artists, and vistrual archetects to give shape and detail to the region. Clothing for men and women, household decorations and fixtures, streetscape items, appropriate vehicles, accessories, and other classical roman-themed items are in high demand and would be greatly appreciated.

Not a builder but you still want to help? That’s cool, as we have a lot of publicity, research, and documentation tasks that could benefit from more manpower.

Don’t have the time to contribute content, but you are still interseted in the project or have ideas? Then come to our weekly meetings! The Sim Planning Committee generally meets every Sunday at 1 PM SLT, while the Building Workgroup meets every Wednesday at 3 PM SLT. The Promotion and Bureacracy and Finance Workgroups meet as needed and meetings are announced in the Planning Colonia Nova Forum.

So, if you want to help build a piece of Second Life history, please come join us! For more information on this or other topics, please contact Moon Adament, the head of the Sim Planning Committee, or any other member of the SPC. If you are interested in creating content for Colonia Nova, please conact Moon Adament prior to beginning work in order to recieve important background and IP rights information.

  1. Please include me. I would like to help, but not as a builder, but maybe in other ways.
